IT was announced today the date to get in your fashion diary for this year's British Fashion Awards is the 9th of December.
Supported by Swarovski and to be held at The Royal Court of Justice, the awards - which recognise and honour the most influential people in fashion today - will bring to a close the 25th anniversary celebrations of the British Fashion Council.
Among the 11 awards to be had on the night include the 25th Designer of the Year, Menswear Designer, Model, Designer Brand, the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator, as well as the coveted award for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design.
Caroline Rush, chief executive of the British Fashion Council says: "Throughout the year fashion opinion formers from around the world look to British designers for inspiration. The British Fashion Awards recognise the best of this design talent and creativity."
Swarovski will also sponsor two awards, the Swarovski Emerging Talent Awards for ready-to-wear and accessories.
Luella Bartley (pictured left) was named Designer of The Year at the British Fashion Awards last November.
