2009 British Fashion Awards

THERE’S only one day left to vote for your winner in the British Fashion Awards' new London 25 category - which recognises an individual who embodies the spirit of London and is an international ambassador for the capital's fashion industry . The race really began to hot up last week and the frontrunners are in. The British Fashion Council, which hosts the awards, confirmed that the five leading the field are Alexander McQueen, Alexa Chung, Joan Burstein, Kate Moss and Vivienne Westwood.

But it's not too late to vote for your London fashion icon and with names like Christopher Kane, Erin O'Connor, Matthew Williamson, Naomi Campbell, Sienna Miller, Manolo Blahnik, Sir Paul Smith, Stella McCartney, Sir Philip Green and Twiggy there’s still everything to play for! Visit www.britishfashionawards.com/london25 (soon!) to register your vote.

The winner will be announced at the British Fashion Awards ceremony on December 9 at the Royal Courts of Justice along with the evening's more established prizes, including Designer of the Year, Swarovski Emerging Talent, Accessory Designer of the Year and Model of the Year.
